INGREDIENTS: 8oz. Whipped cream cheese
1 jar of Mrs. DeVaney’s Sweet & Sassy Hot Pepper Jelly

Crackers
Spread 8 oz. whipped cream cheese in 9" pie dish.
Pour 1 jar of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly on top. Arrange crackers of your choice around the appetizer. Serve immediately. Pretty with lettuce garnish on dish before cream cheese is added.

Scoop 1 jar of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly into bowl, add cream cheese and blend for 1-2 minutes.
Spread on crackers, bagels, crackers with smoked salmon.

Chicken in a Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly & Wine Sauce What you do…Salt, pepper, and season chicken breast with herb mixture. Pan fry or broil chicken until done. Mix and heat one cup of Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly and one cup red wine. Reduce until sauce thickens. Dice chicken breast and pour sauce over. Garnish with fresh herbs.

Hot Pepper Jelly Fried Potatoes "A awesome breakfast treat!"
2 big potatoes (I like the Yukon Gold best!)
2 spoonfuls Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly 2 spoonfuls wine or apple juice
Salt, pepper & herbs to taste and Olive oil What you do…Peel and slice potatoes; put olive oil in pan on medium high heat. Add potatoes and seasoning. Brown to your liking. When potatoes are done mix Pepper Jelly and wine together add to pan and glaze on potatoes. Should take about 3 minutes. Serve your Hot Pepper Jelly Potatoes in a fried cheese shell or just beside eggs sunny side up. FRIED CHEESE SHELL? Heat a small non-stick pan on medium high. Add enough shredded cheddar just to cover bottom of pan. When cheese moves freely in pan flip over to cook other side. (Lightly brown on both sides.) On cutting board turn a small bowl upside down, place melted cheese on top of bowl and mold down with paper towels (several layers thick, this cheese is really hot!) Remove paper towel and wait a few moments for cheese to cool. Remove from bowl and turn upright. Fill with Hot Pepper Jelly Fried Potatoes.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Spicy Rice What you do…Add a couple spoonfuls of Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly into the water for minute rice. Bring to boil and add rice. Stir and cover. Wait five minutes and serve.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly Deviled Eggs
12 hard-boiled eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 tablespoons Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly salt & pepper to taste.
What you do…Remove shells from eggs by cracking gently and running under cold water. Cut in half-length wise, remove yolks into separate bowl, grab your hand mixer (you only need one tong) and mix with all above ingredients till smooth & creamy. Put mixture in pastry bag and pipe into egg halves. Chill and serve.

Mrs. DeVaney’s South of The Border Cornbread What you do…Using pre-packaged cornbread mix, cut back on the water in the recipe. Add a little Mrs. DeVaney’s Gourmet Black Bean & Corn Salsa or Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly (or both) to cornbread mix. Mix well and spoon into muffin tins. Bake as directed. When muffins are almost done, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly And Cream Cheese Add ½ jar to 1 whole jar of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly and 2 8-ounce blocks cream cheese. What you do…Put Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly in mixer. Add desired amount of cream cheese. Mix slowly at first. Then mix fast until mixture is smooth and creamy. Put mixture into pastry bag. Pipe onto crackers, triscuits, or triscuits and salmon or top off a baked potato. OR slice 8-ounce block in half and spoon out desired amount of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly on top and decorate with crackers around the outside. Store in refrigerator up to one week.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Jelly Filled French Toast "Fun for Breakfast or Brunch!" My son’s favorite!
2 slices of bread (any type you like, if home made, slice thin).
2 spoonfuls of Mrs.DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly
1 egg
1 oz of milk butter. What you do….Make a jelly sandwich. Mix egg and milk in bowl big enough to put sandwich in. Dip your jelly sandwich in the egg and milk batter. Preheat non-stick pan to 350 F. or medium high. Add a "dab" of butter to pan and fry your sandwich till golden brown on one side, Flip over and do the same to the other side. Serve sliced in triangles and sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Buried Treasure Muffins
1 package of your favorite muffin mix
1 tablespoons of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly.
What you do… 
Make muffin mix as directed on package. If muffin recipe requires sugar, add a little less than required by recipe. Fill muffin tins half full with muffin batter. Add 1 tablespoon of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly. Top with more muffin batter. Bake as directed. Cool and serve.

Mrs. DeVaney’s Pound Cake
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
1-cup milk (room temperature),
1 tsp baking powder,
1 tsp. lemon juice,
and 1-cup of Mrs. DeVaney’s Hot Pepper Jelly What you do…
In medium mixing bowl, cream sugar, add shortening and eggs. Add all other ingredients and mix until smooth. Fold jelly into creamed mixture. Pour into a tube pan that has been buttered and coated with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Insert toothpick into center of cake. If toothpick is clean, cake is done. Delicious!
